Graduating with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in industrial and manufacturing systems engineering
How did you pick your major of study, and why did you choose the University of Windsor?
I picked industrial engineering because it combines engineering skills with management, and I spoke with some relatives who studied it before. I chose U of W because it offered me the best scholarships out of any other university, specially the Outstanding Scholars program.
What would you say is the most important thing you have learned at university: about yourself, about other people, about your field of study, or about the world?
Never listen to stereotypes, and open your mind for different cultures and ideas.
What would you say has been the most memorable part of your UWindsor experience?
The co-op work terms were the highlight of my experience. It allowed me to gain invaluable experience that complements the theory I take at school.
Please tell us why you are proud to be part of the University of Windsor’s graduating class of 2011.
Because I had the chance to meet great students from different backgrounds and experiences. I learnt a lot from my U of W classmates, more than any other institution I attended before.
