Welcome to the Student Advocate Office

The Student Advocate Office has worked with a diverse range of students at the University of Windsor. The Student Advocates have assisted international students, part-time and mature students, students with disabilities, as well as graduate students at all levels to address and informally resolve academic and non-academic related matters. Issues related to academic integrity allegations, human rights violations, lack of adherence to the Senate By-Laws have all been raised and highlighted by the office.

 

The Student Advocates provide information to students about their rights, assist students to draft formal appeals, mediate between parties in a dispute, and advocate on behalf of students.  Where students require legal representation, the office refers students to appropriate legal aid services such as Community Legal Aid (CLA).

 

The Student Advocate Office provides all students with a safe and open space to express their concerns and voice on matters related to their student rights on academic and non-academic matters.
