ACADEMIC INTEGRITY ASSESSMENT REPORTS:
Results of Faculty and Student Surveys

In January 2006 the University undertook its first Academic Integrity Assessment Project, which involved surveying faculty and students about their attitudes and behaviours on academic honesty. The information obtained in this study will assist the University in the development of educational programming on academic integrity and inform the ongoing development of the University's academic integrity awareness campaign. The report of that study is below. The University anticipates conducting a similar survey every five years or so, with a view to analyzing whether perceptions about academic integrity improve and whether self-reported cheating behaviours decrease. The Academic Integrity Office welcomes any comments with respect to this survey or report.
