STEP 1: Applying to the University of Windsor
Applications may be completed on-line. The Registrar's Office provides application instructions. Please review the instructions before completing the application.

Record the course codes of your required courses. For example, all first year Psychology students must register in the Introduction to Psychology course (course code: 02-46-115).
When are my Major and Option courses offered?

Visit the Student Information System (SIS) website

Timetables- Courses/ Exams (left hand menu item)

Under the appropriate semester:
1st year students- Select "Year 1 Timetable"
Other- Select "Complete Timetable"

Schedule any major courses, if offered first, since they may not be offered the following semester

Before you register for your courses ensure that you have no timetable conflicts (e.g. two courses offered at the same time, three exams in one day)

10 minutes is enough time to get from one class to another

Record course section numbers. You will need the course section number when you register for the course on SIS.
How do I register for my courses?

Visit the Student Information System (SIS)

Register/ Add or Drop Courses

Click the appropriate semester, Begin to Register

Add the courses you wish to register for. Don't forget to include the course section number.

Process Your Request

If you have successfully registered for your courses you will receive a thumbs up!

Logout of SIS, Login to SIS, View Your Schedule and Grades

Ensure that you have registered for the correct courses. Print out your timetable and bring it with you on your first day of classes.
If you require assistance or have questions about course selection you may contact: The department of your major, access the Undergraduate Calendar online, or book an appointment to see an Advisor.
STEP 3: Attending Orientation
Orientations are held all year long. To view upcoming orientations, please visit the Orientation website at www.uwindsor.ca/orientation.
