Windsor International Airport (YQG)

Charter, freight, cargo, and baggage handling and aircraft maintenance are a few of the many services that Windsor International Airport proudly offers. Pilots will enjoy the conveniences of hanger and ramp capacity, passenger and pilot lounges, on-site rental cars, hotel reservations, and internet access at our FBO partners. Flight training, hangar storage, overnight and long term tie downs are also available at Windsor International Airport from our airport partners.

Windsor Airport has the full range of facilities required to meet the aviation needs of private, business and corporate pilots worldwide.

There are two runways. The main runway (07-25) is a 9000' x 200' instrument approach runway and there is a second 5150' x 150' crosswind runway. The control tower is in operation from 0630 - 2230 local time daily, and Category 5/6 available upon request with 3 hour prior notice. Aircraft handling and ground handling are readily available, as are in-flight catering services, refueling, de-icing and other necessary services.

The terminal is also designed to be both "airline and passenger friendly". It has a dedicated International Wing and resident Canada Custom facilities. Canada Customs officers are at the airport from 0800 - 2400 daily; other coverage is available by prior arrangement. Customs facilities are capable of handling complete off-load of a wide body aircraft and offer complete Canadian Inspection Services.

Windsor Airport is operational 24 hours per day, 7 days per week; and is capable of supporting both VFR and IFR operations down to Cat I precision approach limits and departures in visibility down to 1/2 statute mile.

The maneuvering area consists of two intersecting runways and a joining taxiway system, and two aprons. The primary runway (07-25) is 9,000 feet long by 200 feet wide asphalt. The secondary runway (12-30) is 5,150 feet long by 150 feet wide asphalt.
