Microsoft is reporting that some users in Canada may experience email delays in sending and receiving emails, and in some cases, the email delivery may fail.

To patch a critical security vulnerability, IT Services will be performing network maintenance Monday, April 15 between 10:30 and 11:30 pm.
During this time, there may be short 5-10 minute outages to the University's Internet connectivity. Additionally, the Computer Science and Student Accessibility Services networks will experience multiple brief 30 second outages.

Microsoft support has identified an issue that affects Outlook functions that may be contributing to the impact. They're investigating and identifying a path to remediation.
Outlook desktop and Outlook mobile do not appear to be impacted at this time.

As part of the Server Modernization Project, several systems will be unavailable due to maintenance starting Friday, April 5 at 9:30 p.m., until Saturday, April 6, at 2 p.m.

The following applications remain available, but the integration to student data in UWinsite Student will be disrupted during maintenance and restored on Monday, April 8.

Microsoft determined that a recent update intended to improve the reliability of Outlook on the web contained an issue that is causing users to be unable to download attachments. Microsoft is developing a fix to remediate the impact and suggests users use the Outlook desktop app or try logging out and back in to Outlook on the web.

Wireless access point replacement work will take place in the Ed Lumley Centre for Engineering Innovation (CEI) starting Tuesday, April 2, and continuing until the end of the month. The maintenance will disrupt wireless service only in the upgrade area.
