Amy Peirone

Amy Peirone 

Amy is a PhD candidate at the University in Windsor in the Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Criminology. She holds a Master’s degree in Criminology from the University of Ottawa, and a Master’s degree in Social Data Analysis from the University of Windsor. Her research interests include: intimate partner violence; policing and perceptions of the police; and quantitative research methodologies. Under the supervision of Dr. Eleanor Maticka-Tyndale, Amy’s SSHRC funded dissertation work looks at intimate partner violence in Sub-Saharan Africa.
