About the Project
After performing at Carnegie Hall last year, 20 members of UWindsor Choirs will soon be embarking on a concert tour to Central Europe. Tour experiences are life-changing opportunities. Not only will choristers represent the University but they will grow in their awareness of the world around them. In a direct application of experiential learning, they will perform in grand venues, work with renowned artists, and experience some of the area’s history with a visit to the concentration camp in which musicians and actors were held during World War Two.
How will funds impact the work being done?
Funds raised will help offset the cost of the tour, which is similar to an extra term of tuition for each student. The Choir will visit Poland, Germany, and the Czech Republic, with performances in four cities, and master classes in Warsaw and Prague.
Fundraising Goal: $4,000
