Alumni Membership Card

Alumni are entitled to a number of discounted campus services including access to The Forge Fitness Centre in the St. Denis Athletic & Community Centre and the  Leddy Library. Discounts are also offered to alumni on  conference services and summer campus accommodations. Simply present your Alumni membership card to receive the special rates for alumni.

Under a cooperative agreement, UWindsor alumni can enjoy memberships - many at a reduced rate - simply by presenting your Alumni membership card at university athletic centres across Canada. Click here to view the complete list.

Leddy Library

External Borrower Card

Cards are available at no cost to alumni with the presentation of appropriate identification.

Your card allows you to borrow books and videos from the Leddy Library. External borrowers can also use their library cards to use Library computers that require a login.

Please be aware that external borrowers are not able to use their library card to access online library journals and research tools from off-campus or use Interlibrary Loan services.

How to apply?

Application for an External Borrowers card must be made in person at the Leddy Library Circulation Desk and must be accompanied with photo-identification and proof of address.

The Leddy Library is named in honour of Dr. J(John) Francis Leddy, former president of the University of Windsor (1964 - 1978) He presided over a period of explosive growth of the university. Dr. Leddy was a bibliophile and donated hundreds of volumes to the University Library during and after his term as president. Included among them were several rare volumes given to him by the Vatican Library. The University of Windsor Library was renamed the Leddy Library in his honour in 1977.

• Free event planning by qualified and professional meeting planners.
• Upscale suite style accommodations available at the Alumni Hall & Conference Centre from May to August.  Alumni and guests will receive special rates and amenities including a continental breakfast, free local calling, internet access, business services, and on-site convenience store.
• Use of the Leon Z. McPherson Alumni Reception Centre, meeting areas, classrooms, lecture rooms or reception space.

Leon Z. McPherson Alumni Reception Centre

The Leon Z. McPherson Alumni Reception Centre is located directly off a spacious lobby designed to welcome guests in the Alumni Hall & Conference Centre residence facility. The room, which will accommodate 60-100 people in various seated and table arrangements, features a large stone fireplace which gives it character and warmth. Whether hosting a reception or holding a series of professional meetings, the room is well equipped.
