Conference Prizes & Awards

Selected articles will be included in the edited conference proceedings and will be considered for the CCSBE 2011 Best Paper Awards. These awards include Best English Paper and Best French Paper and an Honourable Mention for both categories. Final selection will be made by an awards committee of the CCSBE 2011 Academic Reviewer, 2 professors, and the Awards Chair, Ms. Maureen Joudrey.

All accepted and presented papers will also be considered for publication in the CCSBE affiliated journal: Journal of Small Business and Entrepreneurship

CCSBE 2011 is pleased to offer an Innovative Entrepreneurship Education Award. This honour is awarded to an individual or individuals who have created and continue to teach high quality innovative entrepreneurship courses that positively influence the students who take them. The award is given for a truly state-of-the-art entrepreneurship course in which the faculty member can demonstrate:

• Innovativeness
• Course effectiveness
• Student impact
• Transferability

Self-nominations are welcomed and encouraged. Selection will be made by an awards committee comprised of a professor, a student, and a practitioner chaired by Ms. Maureen Joudrey.
