Gift Package

There are four parts to the "Carla Can Sing" gift package:

• A doll figure named Carla or Carl (or you can change the doll's name to anything you like)
• A animated DVD in French and English
• A backpack
• A baseball cap and bandana
• A water bottle

Each child who receives a gift package from BPPOA will get either a "Carla" doll or a "Carl" doll.  Carla has blond hair and blue eyes and Carl has darker skin, dark hair and eyes.  Each gift package also includes a baseball cap and a bandana.  

Carla and Carl's "hair" comes off, so when you lose your hair, so does your new friend.  When you wear a baseball cap or bandana so does Carla and Carl.  

The animated DVD features both Carla and Carl.  They are best friends who met in the hospital.  They sing and talk to each other about having cancer and all the things that are happening to them and around them.  They sing about having to "hurry up and wait", chemotherapy, eating right and all the great people in the hospital who are there to help them.  You can sing along with Carla and Carl while you are at the hospital or when you are at home.  You can also take your new DVD and doll to school to show your friends, so they will understand about what it means to have cancer.  

Each gift package also includes a backpack that you can take to school or the hospital and a water bottle too.
