Experience Through Co-op

"The experience that I received through the co-op program was incredibly valuable.  The real world experience I gained during my 40 hours per week placements provided me with a greater depth of understanding of what it takes to implement concepts learned in the classroom, while in an industry setting.  Not only did the co-op program increase my toolset dramatically, it also helped to boost my confidence in the work I produced.  That confidence and my increased skill set, in turn, translated to increased interview skills.  My co-op employers were fantastic.  They took the time to help me develop professionally as well as personally through self-evaluation and introspection.  I would definitely recommend the co-op program to any student that wants to get more out of their educational experience and be better prepared to enter an industry occupation upon graduation."
