VIP-CSL: Student Information

VIP-CSL participants work with local community partners to have an impact on their community while gaining skills and experience for their future careers. Service learners will apply discipline specific knowledge while addressing community need. In addition to serving a minimum of 40 community hours, students will also complete a series of short professional development activities both online and in-person. This opportunity will take place during a single semester and is co-curricular (in addition to your academic courses).

VIP-CSL matches students with off-campus non-profit organizations that really need volunteers to operate effectively and appreciate your time. Student will work onsite or at community events. The variety of positions depends on the community’s specific needs.

You are encouraged to apply, and you will be able to view the available opportunities before you must pay the administrative fee.
