Meet with schools, school boards and educational agencies!
The University of Windsor’s Career Development team in collaboration with the Faculty of Education host our annual Faculty of Education Career Fair. Schools, school boards, and agencies with employment opportunities will be invited to join us to provide students and alumni an opportunity to learn about full-time, part-time, and occasional teaching opportunities.
Admission is FREE for students. Education students from all year levels are encouraged to logon to Blackboard and learn about various opportunities.
Tips for students planning to attend: Research the organizations attending, bring copies of your resume, practice your pitch, and dress for success!

Applying to Teaching Jobs with ApplyToEducation?
While schools and school boards can advertise available teaching positions by whichever method they choose, 92% of Ontario School Boards post all their jobs and only accept applications via ApplyToEducation. This includes the Greater Essex County District School Board and Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board.
The ApplyToEducation on-line application system allows teachers to search and apply for opportunities posted by over 5,500 schools in 49 countries.
Job seekers register and create their online application portfolio when they want to apply. It costs $12 each year/per board to apply to advertised positions and/or to allow those boards to let them view their online application. Applicants benefit by using one application to apply to multiple employers and job postings which saves them time and simplifies how they update their application throughout the hiring process.
ApplyToEducation offers on-line help and training for new users, including guidelines on how to complete your on-line Portfolio as well as how to apply for jobs. Additionally, ApplyToEducation will log all the postings that you’ve applied to.
Employers use this site for recruiting as the system keeps applications on file for 12 months, and allows all applications to be stored safely. Recruiters can also search profiles of potential candidates in the database.
