I think the hardest part about getting a job at a tech company like BlackBerry is getting the interview; over 10,000 students from around the world apply each term for the available 200 co-op positions.

When asked what tips Prasad would share with other co-op students seeking a similar work experience, he urged students to look beyond the City or the Province and be open to a variety of possibilities that co-op can offer.

“You know you’re doing something you love when work doesn’t even feel like work.” 

ROI's chief role is to design the most efficient systems encompassing all replenishment services at the store level (ie how to get product customers want, from the source to the shelf). 

Connor’s advice to any student looking for an opportunity is “don’t be afraid to ask for help – talk to family, friends parents, past personal or professional connections, professors…anyone that can help you secure that role that you’re hoping for”.   

My co-op experience provided me with the opportunity to learn biomechanically safe lifts, personal care, sport adaptations, planning and implementing programs, and how to communicate using non-verbal communication devices.

I am a strong believer in experience being the best education. 

The most important preparation for my future that my co-op experiences have given me are helping me to identify what my likes and dislikes are related to my career path. 

My co-op experience has introduced me to elements of the business world that I hadn’t even considered exploring!
