Welcome
The Campus Community Garden Project (CCGP) believes in promoting positive interaction between the campus and the local community. We support and encourage community building and beautification, garden-based education and urban agriculture as means to improve food security in Windsor while fostering a sense of environmental stewardship.
In addition to producing organic food, the garden increases biodiversity and sustainability by retaining valuable rain water, for instance. Our vegetables and native plants provide habitat and food for beneficial organisms such as butterflies and birds. We feel good about contributing to the community by supplying food for people in need and engaging and empowering people to grow their own food.
