Construction Timeline

The project has begun with the development of a site service tunnel and will continue with the groundbreaking and laying the foundations for Phase I of the structure.

The phase timeline is as follows:
• Start Date (Service Tunnel) – May 1, 2009
• Engineering Regulatory Approval (Phase I and II) – September 2, 2009
• Tendering of Phase I and II – September/October 2009
• Contractor Start Date – November 2009
• Phase 1 Proposed Completion Date – June 2011
• Phase II Proposed Completion Date – June 2012
