Professor Tony Lau

Lau is a Hong Kong born filmmaker.  Lau completed his Undergraduate and Graduate Degrees in Communications at University of Windsor.  Tony Lau is currently completing his M.F.A. at York University.  

Tony Lau ha worked on numerous international films including animations, documentaries, and fictional films.  His international experience includes supervision of numerous crews on productions that span across three continents, and several countries, including Canadaa, America, Japan, Germany, Korea, and Hong Kong.  Films he's worked on include, "Myth of Dreams", "Left Behind Women", "Two Islands", and "Made in China".

Teaching and Filmmaking are Tony's passion.  Taking a hands on approach, students are able to get an in-depth and technical approach to most facets of the production industry.  This passion allows Tony to be up to date on leading techniques and trends going on in the film industry.
 
Tony Lau's current project investigates the perils surrounding migrational work and the family dynamic in the Northern Region of China.
