Mentee Learning Outcomes:
- Enhance their knowledge of campus resources, academic/classroom expectations, and the challenges of first-year through discussions with peers
- Develop an appreciation for time management through discussion with peers and exploration of campus resources
- Learn about campus culture and extra curricular opportunities from peers
- Develop a connection to the campus community through peer interactions
Responsibilities of a Mentee:
- Checking and reading your UWindsor e-mail account on a regular basis
- Attending scheduled meetings with your mentor
- Prepare SMART goals to support training and growth- review goals with Advice Guru and refine as needed
- Meeting face to face with your mentor once a month
- Being respectful towards your mentor
- Maintaining ongoing communication with your mentor ( i.e. UWindsor e-mail, MSN, Facebook, texting, Skype)
- Participating in program events and monthly meetings
