I am a Professor in the Applied Social Psychology Graduate Program within the Department of Psychology and cross appointed to the Women's Studies program. Currently, I am the Faculty of Arts and Social Science Senior Research Leadership Chair (2009-2014) and from 2005-2008 I was the recipient of an Ontario Women's Health Career Award which allowed me to focus more time on research. I teach undergraduate and graduate courses in social psychology and the psychology of women, undergraduate courses in women's studies, supervise a large number of graduate students, and maintain an active research program. My PhD is in Social Psychology from York University (1991) and I've been employed at the University of Windsor since 1992.

Each year I normally supervise one or more undergraduate students. I also supervise a number of graduate students. Due to my heavy supervision load, I am only able to supervise students coming in to our Applied Social Psychology program. My students' research focuses on violence against women, lesbian health, and women's sexuality as it relates to violence against women. Please note that I prioritize supervision of students whose work relates to some aspect of violence against women and/or girls.
