Women’s boxing subject of lecture

Kinesiology professor Cathy van Ingen of Brock University contributed a chapter to the book “The First Black Boxing Champions: Essays on Fighters of the 1800s to the 1920s.”

The Human Kinetics Speakers’ Series presents Cathy van Ingen, associate professor in the Department of Physical Education and Kinesiology at Brock University, delivering a free public lecture entitled “Bob and Weave: Slipping (and Deconstructing) the Discourses on Women's Boxing,” Friday, February 10, at noon in room 145, Human Kinetics Building.
