Workshops to provide preparation for job fair

The University of Windsor Centre for Career Education, in partnership with St. Clair College, is holding a job fair for students and alumni of both institutions on Tuesday, January 22, at the St. Clair Centre for the Arts.

The event, on the theme “A Partnership to the Future,” is an opportunity for students and alumni seeking full-time, part-time and summer positions—or students looking for information on potential co-op or internship positions—to network with professionals from various industries. It is open to all current students and alumni of the University of Windsor or St. Clair College; student ID is required to enter.

The event will run 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A free bus service will shuttle students from Vanier Circle to downtown every 30 minutes, starting at 9:30 a.m.

For more information, including a list of attending companies, visit the Centre for Career Education website.

The centre will also offer a Job Fair Preparation Workshop to give students the tools and tips to be successful at the Job Fair. The one-hour workshop is set for room 351, Dillon Hall, and costs $5. It will run twice:

  • Thursday, January 17, at 1 p.m.
  • Friday, January 18, at 11 a.m.
