Coffee break Thursday to celebrate women in geoscience

The Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences invites all women—faculty, staff, graduate and undergraduate students—interested in those disciplines to share coffee, cake and conversation Thursday morning.

October 17 is Women in the Geosciences Day, and Thursday’s coffee klatch will mark the occasion, says professor Maria Cioppa.

The event runs 10 a.m. to noon in room 204C, Memorial Hall. Learn more on its Facebook page.
