Film follows family through year of living environmentally

A family embarks on a year-long project to reduce their net footprint by using no electricity, producing no trash and giving back to the world. The film No Impact Man tells their story.

It will be screened March 5 at 1 p.m. as part of the Environmental Wednesdays documentary series in the International Student Centre on the second floor of Laurier Hall. Follow Manhattan’s Beavan family as they abandon their high-consumption 5th Avenue lifestyle and try to live a year while making no net environmental impact.

The screenings, sponsored by the centre and UWindsor Green, are free and open to the public.
