Students, faculty and staff who participate in Bike Week activities on campus will receive ballots for a prize draw that includes a bicycle donated by City Cyclery.
The week’s events open Tuesday, March 25, with a Breakfast for Cyclists from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. outside the CAW Student Centre.
Campus Police constable Rosemary Briscoe will provide pointers on properly securing your bike during Locking with Rose, 11 a.m. in the CAW Student Centre’s second-floor boardroom.
The Share the Road Coalition will determine safest routes to campus during the Bike Safety Evaluation, from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
A Tire Pump Race, a fun way to teach students how to pump up a bicycle tire and use a pressure gauge, offers prizes from 3 to 4:30 p.m. outside the CAW Student Centre.
