Possibilities of documentary film subject of presentation

Kim Nelson, a professor in the School for Arts and Creative Innovation, will deliver a free public lecture entitled “Something Happened: Documenting the Past in Sound and Image,” Wednesday, March 26, at 4 p.m. in Alumni Hall’s McPherson Lounge.

The presentation explores the possibilities and problems of making a documentary that is conscious of the aims of academic history. Nelson is a fellow of the Humanities Research Group, which will host a reception to follow.
