Contest win a gift for campus fundraiser

Gemma Grey-Hall will be able to start her first summer working on campus in style. Newly-appointed as major gift officer in the Faculty of Science, she won this week’s DailyNews quiz contest and its fabulous prize of a beautiful UWindsor T-shirt.

Grey-Hall’s entry was drawn from all those which correctly identified the typefaces used to spell “University of Windsor” in each of its official logos below: Times New Roman for the 1980 version, Meta for the 2007 logo, and Din for the current logo, adopted in 2013.

To help celebrate the University of Windsor’s 50th anniversary, DailyNews will run a contest at the beginning of each week, offering a prize donated by the University Bookstore. This week’s prize, a beautiful white T-shirt with the University’s name and date of birth imprinted in black, is available for purchase from the Bookstore kiosk in the CAW Student Centre at a cost of just $11.95.
