There still time to register for the 2014 Alumni and Friends Golf Tournament at Essex Golf and Country Club on Monday, August 11.

One of the area’s finest clubs, its Donald Ross-designed course hosted the PGA Tour’s Canadian Open in 1976, the LPGA’s duMaurier Classic in 1998 and the AT&T Canada Senior Open in 2002. Golf enthusiasts will enjoy this classic design, which features mature trees lining well-manicured fairways.

Apart from the golf, participants will also take in carefully planned and cared for gardens throughout the course and dinner in the beautiful clubhouse—modeled on an English county house.

The day includes a round of 18 holes with cart, lunch and dinner, a number of prizes and gifts, a raffle and live auction, for just $225 per person or $800 per foursome. Individual admission just to the three-course dinner is available separately for $70.
