When was the last time you actually wrote someone a letter and put it in the mail? There is no better time than January 12 to 18—National Letter Writing Week—and the Leddy Library is making it easy.

Its staff has set up a table across from the information desk on its main floor, complete with specially-designed postcards offering greeting from the library. Once patrons have addressed one and added a personal message, staff will stamp and post it.

An accompanying display highlights collections of personal correspondence from various periods of history.

The Leddy Library is distributing free postcards this week to help patrons celebrate letter writing.
