Bourne identity of University Players contest winner

Don Bourne, an instructor in the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering, won Monday’s DailyNews trivia contest and a pair of tickets to the University Players production of To Moscow.

Bourne’s entry was drawn from all those which correctly identified Cupid as the Roman equivalent of the Greek god Eros, Hamlet as the only Shakespeare play to mention Valentine’s Day, and Olga Knipper as Anton Chekhov’s wife.

The University Players production continues its run through Sunday in Essex Hall Theatre. Performances Wednesday through Saturday are at 8 p.m.; matinees Saturday and Sunday are at 2 p.m. Order tickets online at www.UniversityPlayers.com or by phoning 519-253-3000, ext. 2808.
