The University of Windsor welcomes the initiatives that Premier Kathleen Wynne outlined today in the Premier’s Action Plan on Sexual Violence. The Action Plan sets a strong framework for everyone to be engaged in changing behaviours so that women can feel safe. From education that can help prevent sexual violence, through to appropriate support for victims, the University of Windsor is committed to working with the goals and direction the Premier has outlined.

Moving forward, we will continue to provide updates on our Sexual Assault and Sexual Misconduct webpage, continue the work toward finalization of a stand-alone policy on sexual assault and sexual violence, and continue to work with our campus community to ensure that the University of Windsor is a safe and respectful place for everyone. The University is thankful to the many faculty, staff and students who are actively engaged in helping us work toward this goal.
