Forum to focus on international teacher education

A forum today and tomorrow on the Education Building’s third floor will focus on international teacher education.

Keynote speakers Don Dippo and Lorraine Otoide of York University will discuss their project “Borderless Higher Education for Refugees,” an international collaboration which is making postsecondary education accessible to people living in the Dadaab refugee camps in Kenya.

Their presentation, which is free and open to the public, begins at 4 p.m. Monday, March 9.

Other sessions of the Faculty of Education and Academic Development Research Forum are directed at education faculty and students: a conversation on the opportunities and challenges involved in international projects, and workshops for graduate students Tuesday morning.
