Windsor team heads the class in class action competition

Law professor Jasminka Kalajdzic led a team from Windsor Law to victory at the Warren K. Winkler Class Actions Moots held recently at the Toronto Law offices of McCarthy Tétrault.

The second annual competition gave students the opportunity to showcase their legal skills before leaders of the class actions bar. Participants were judged by a panel composed of Warren Winkler, former Chief Justice of Ontario, and justices Edward Belobaba and Barbara Conway of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.

The Windsor team took home the 2015 Winkler Cup, as well as prizes for best facta. Katelyn Scorer was runner-up as best oralist.
