Economist to discuss how corporate social responsibility affects innovation

Registration is now open for an April 10 research presentation entitled “Effects of Corporate Social Responsibility on Innovation: an Empirical Analysis using Patent Data” by James Brander, professor of strategy and business economics at the Sauder School of Business, University of British Columbia.

Asia Pacific Professor in International Business and Public Policy at UBC, Dr. Brander is a past president of the Canadian Economics Association and has served as managing editor of the Canadian Journal of Economics and co-editor of the Journal of International Economics.
