The Together truck is driving change across Canada—and on October 2, it rolls into Windsor.

Together: An exhibition on global development is an interactive, bilingual experience for all ages, highlighting Canadian contributions to positive change around the world. Visitors climb aboard to explore a custom-built truck with 1,000 square feet of exhibition space, travelling coast-to-coast over the next two years.

The exhibition features photography, film, audio, artefacts, an interactive world map of Canadian contributions overseas, and a skills quiz for visitors to discover how they can contribute to the fight against poverty.

Together was developed by Aga Khan Foundation Canada with financial support from the federal government, and features the work of 21 Canadian organizations working to reduce poverty around the world.

UWindsor alumni Tony Amato (BA 2000) and Frank Mancina (BA 2010), executives with MRA experiential tours and equipment, helped to produce this travelling exhibit and arranged for its appearance on campus. It will park on the asphalt outside the Biology Building, Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free. Learn more on the event website.

It’s part of the Alumni Weekend celebrations that will open Thursday with the campus community encouraged to don their UWindsor apparel for Spirit Day and to join a “Grab ’N’ Go” breakfast from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the corner of Wyandotte Street and Sunset Avenue.
