Themes of interdisciplinary design up for discussion

Vancouver-based Garnet Hertz, a Canada Research Chair in Design and Media Arts and associate professor in the Faculty of Design and Dynamic Media at Emily Carr University, will discuss his recent projects in an artist’s talk today—Monday, October 5—in the LeBel Building.

Dr. Hertz is founder and director of Dorkbot SoCal, a monthly Los Angeles-based lecture series on do-it-yourself culture, electronic art and design. His art and research explores themes of DIY culture and interdisciplinary art practices. Learn more about his work at conceptlab.com.
