African cultural celebration to tickle tastebuds

Afrofest, the cultural celebration of the African diaspora, continues today with activities in the CAW Student Centre Commons.

The schedule for Tuesday, February 2, includes:

  • a panel discussion of the relationships between black women and the media, at 2:30 p.m.
  • “Can we talk about racism?” led by sociology professor Jane Ku at 4 p.m.
  • a board games night at 6 p.m.
  • the “Taste of the Diaspora” food sampler, $5 a plate at 7 p.m.
  • a film screening, admission by donation, at 8 p.m.
