Afrofest, the cultural celebration of the African diaspora, continues today with activities in the CAW Student Centre Commons.
The schedule for Tuesday, February 2, includes:
- a panel discussion of the relationships between black women and the media, at 2:30 p.m.
- “Can we talk about racism?” led by sociology professor Jane Ku at 4 p.m.
- a board games night at 6 p.m.
- the “Taste of the Diaspora” food sampler, $5 a plate at 7 p.m.
- a film screening, admission by donation, at 8 p.m.
