Lancer fan takes systematic approach to contest victory

Johnny Murer, a systems programmer in IT Services, won Thursday’s DailyNews quiz contest and its prize of four gold-seat tickets to the Lancer football game, Saturday on Alumni Field.

Murer’s entry was drawn from all those which correctly named kicker Clark Green as Windsor’s leading scorer in week one, linebacker Frank Renaud as the defensive star in week two, and running back Tarrence Crawford as the Lancer leader in week three.

The Lancers will host the Ottawa Gee Gees, with kick-off set for 1 p.m.

Gold seat tickets are $15; adult admission is $12; and youth and seniors get in for $10. For Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day, September 24, UWindsor employees enter free and may bring a guest for $5. UWindsor students are always free with valid ID.
