Tree adds new meaning to library stacks

Lancer mascot Winston adorns a holiday tree only a librarian could love, on display now in the Leddy Library.

It is composed of the National Union Catalog, more than 750 volumes that reprint all of the catalogue cards of titles held before 1956 at the Library of Congress. Many libraries have made it a tradition to recognize this historically significant title by using it to make a seasonal display.
