Film a profile of advocate for people with autism

A free public event Wednesday, February 1, will screen the 2010 biopic Temple Grandin, which profiles a woman with autism who overcomes the limitations imposed on her because of her disability.

Grandin is a noted animal expert and advocate for autistic populations, and author of the books Animals in Translation and Animals Make Us Human. She will deliver a keynote address during the UWindsor Accessibility Awareness Day, March 2.

Tuesday’s screening, hosted by the Office of Human Rights, Equity and Accessibility, is set for 6:30 p.m. in room 102, Toldo Health Education Centre.
