U Sports exec to recount journey from campus to career

As a student, Graham Brown (BHK 1992, MHK 1996) played Lancer football and basketball and helped to found the rugby program at the University of Windsor.

Now president of U Sports, Canada’s national governing body of university athletics, Brown will discuss his experiences in a free public presentation entitled “Campus to Career,” at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 15, in room 140, Human Kinetics Building.

While an undergrad, Brown launched his own business, Competitive Sports Travel and Tours, which he sold in 1998 to become executive director of the Ontario Minor Hockey Association. In 2003, he became chief executive officer of Rugby Canada, where he combined his business acumen and passion for sport.

A founding member of the Canadian Team Sports Coalition, he serves on a number of boards.
