Energy exec to discuss tools to power life’s journey

UWindsor alumnus Paul McMillan (MHK 1980, MBA 1982) has been involved in the energy and infrastructure business since 1982. He will share what he has learned over his 35-year career in a free public presentation Wednesday, March 8, in the Human Kinetics Building.

McMillan forged a successful career as an energy executive and entrepreneur. In his presentation, he hopes to provide tools to start your life’s journey in the 21st century workforce, focusing on:

  • What tools and commitment are needed to succeed?
  • Looking to the future — where are the opportunities?
  • What is your game plan?
  • Why your HK degree gives you tools others won’t have.

McMillan has held senior executive positions with Union Energy, PSR Gas Ventures, and Waterstone Energy Services, served as a special advisor to Alberta’s Minister of Energy and chaired the Ontario Energy Association. He is a member of the board of trustees of the Canadian Athletic Foundation.

His address, part of the faculty’s alumni speaker series, will begin at 2:30 p.m. in room 140, Human Kinetics.
