James Elmborg, professor in the School of Library and Information Science at the University of Iowa, will deliver a pair of lectures at the University of Windsor this week.

  • “Critical Library Practice and Why It Matters,” 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 8, in room 302 of the Leddy Library West Building;
  • “Digital Humanities and New Modes of Collaborative Scholarship,” at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 9, in room 105, Memorial Hall.

Both events are free and open to the campus community. Learn more on the Leddy website.

Elmborg directs the Public Digital Humanities Graduate Certificate program at the University of Iowa, and initiated one of that institution’s first digital humanities projects: the Virtual Writing University Archive, a collection of recordings of creative writers talking about their work.
