Students to offer sneak peek at science carnival

Interactive and educational activities will offer a sneak peek of Science Rendezvous on Saturday, May 6, at the Chapters bookstore in Devonshire Mall.

Student volunteers will present demonstrations and hands-on projects for attendees, including:

  • Instant Worms;
  • Make your own Lava Lamp;
  • Build Molecules out of Candy; and
  • Construct your own Mini-Catapult.

The preview event will run noon to 4 p.m. Science Rendezvous itself is a free, family-friendly, festival of science and is set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 13, in the CAW Student Centre. Find more information on the event website.
