The UWindsor Welcome Week committee will begin accepting event proposals on June 13 for the annual fall orientation program.

This year’s welcome week will run September 3 to 9, says Amber Norman, student development specialist in the Student Success Centre.

“It’s never too early to start planning for activities that will help instill a sense of pride and inclusivity in our incoming class,” she says.

This year, the committee will accept event proposals only for events occurring after September 7, the first day of classes. Proposals for program orientation — scheduled for Wednesday, September 6 — should be submitted on the same form.

Proposals for both academic and non-academic events must be submitted by Friday, June 30, for inclusion in promotional materials. Norman offers guidance to individuals or departments in the planning stages; contact her at anorman@uwindsor.ca or 519-253-3000, ext. 3462.
