Moving sale to clear way for visual arts programs to head downtown

Aspiring artists and nostalgic alumni will want to check out a sale of surplus items from the LeBel Building as the School of Creative Arts prepares for its relocation to downtown Windsor.

The sale, July 19 and 20, will feature specialized equipment from visual arts programs — a band saw, welding cart, heat press, inking tables, litho stones, easels, tabourets — as well as more general office furniture like filing cabinets, work tables and more.

A special preview will allow potential buyers to scope out the merchandise on Tuesday, July 18, from noon to 3 p.m. in the SoVA Gallery. Find details and conditions on the event website.
