Meeting to seek input on designs for sport and rec centre

A meeting Wednesday, August 16, will give UWindsor students a chance to weigh in on the designs for the Lancer Sport and Recreation Centre (LSRC).

“I implore students to come and voice their opinions,” says Sheldon Harrison, vice-president finance of the University of Windsor Students’ Alliance and a member of the LSRC project steering committee. “This is our opportunity.”

The architect team will be present to hear feedback. Harrison notes that input from students will inform design decisions to better serve the target population.

“Having more eyes on it can bring up an issue or consideration we may have missed,” he says.

The session promises free pizza and refreshments, is open to all students, and will begin at 6:30 p.m. in room 125, Human Kinetics Building.
