Campus performers to shine in concert at Windsor Jewish Community Centre

Members of the UWindsor community will be featured during a concert Tuesday, October 3, highlighting the work of Jewish composers.

The Windsor Symphony Orchestra will perform music from West Side Story, Fiddler on the Roof, Porgy and Bess, and works by Felix Mendelssohn, Jacques Offenbach, and Aaron Copland at the Windsor Jewish Community Centre.

Soloists include violinist Lillian Scheirich, an adjunct professor of music, and alumnae sopranos Erin Armstrong Dickau (BMus 2007) and Amelia Daigle (BMus 2012).

The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. and will be followed by a dessert reception. Tickets are $20, available at the door. The Windsor Jewish Community Centre is located at 1641 Ouellette Avenue.
