Survey seeking input on subject of Smart Cities

Organizers of the local entry in the national Smart Cities Challenge are looking for input from the community.

SMART Windsor Essex — headed up by Connecting Windsor Essex, the University of Windsor, City of Windsor, County of Essex, St. Clair College, and others — is competing against communities across Canada for up to $50 million dollars from Infrastructure Canada to implement their solutions to problems residents face, by using innovation, data and connected technology.

The regional application will showcase the partnerships, passion, and determination within communities throughout Windsor-Essex to tackle one of three potential areas of focus: “Poverty,” “Health,” and “Employment.”

To help the consortium develop a winning proposal, take the survey or submit your own smart idea.
