A commemorative plaque installed at 208 Sunset Avenue marks the former site of Iona College, the United Church affiliate to the University of Windsor. The lot is now green space planted with lawns and trees.

A Georgian Revival house on the site, built in 1924, was home to several owners, including Judge Bruce Macdonald, who taught at Windsor Law after his retirement from the bench.

The plaque features a brief list of his accomplishments, and notes the building was acquired by Iona College in the late 1960s and vacated in 2016.

The University of Windsor took over the site and has converted it to a parkette.
